My frustration with the stress of Christmas was building each year.
Why must Christmas be so hectic?
Why is my schedule so packed?
Why do I feel a small sense of relief when the holidays are over?
Relief over the end of the celebration of Christ’s birth. What a terrible thought! That is where my frustration came in.

What a great mindset for this season Emily! For some reason everyone thinks they have to perform during this season and do everything and spend all their money, when it just isn’t necessary. I can’t imagine a better season than snuggling and cherishing your newborn, just as I am sure Mary did hers!

I so agree, Christmas doesn’t need to be so hectic. We need to slow down and focus on the right things and enjoy this time. Great post!

For real! This is a time for family and joy, not stress and frustration! It’s time to slow down and simplify. Thanks for sharing on the Small Victories Sunday Linkup!

We paired everything down this year.. so far down. And I still feel like it’s hectic and crazy. Guess it’s time to just embrace the crazy.
